GATEHOUSE ROWS
Lincoln, NE
Completion 2022
Gatehouse Rows was designed as an initial large-scale response to Lincoln’s affordable Housing Action Plan.
Situated on the edge of Wyuka Cemetery and within a historic neighborhood, the project presented an architectural challenge of how to design at an appropriate residential scale, while achieving a level of density appropriate for the financing mechanism.
The result is a high-density row-home concept that reduced the scale of any one building and preserved a relationship between the neighborhood and the cemetery.
