Hayward Place was the conversion of a former Hayward School, the oldest surviving schoolhouse in the Lincoln Public School district converted to affordable condominiums in 1985. Today, the project features parking, laundry, high ceilings and large windows with over 45 condo units available for individual owners. The project was one of the earliest historic tax credit renovations in the state of Nebraska.
