Hoppe Development partners with the Center for Rural Affairs to develop Refugee Housing

Hoppe Development is partnering with the Center for Rural Affairs to build homes for refugees and new immigrants in Grand Island, Nebraska. The project will include two buildings with a total of 10 apartments, each offering three or four bedrooms.

Nick Bergin, from the Center for Rural Affairs, shared, “We’re excited to help bring more affordable housing to Grand Island, a community that really needs it.”

The Multicultural Coalition will help connect families to these new homes. The $2.36 million project is funded in part by a $1 million Pandemic Housing Relief Program grant from Nebraska’s Department of Economic Development.
