Sandhills Townhomes Ribbon Cutting

Hoppe Development is proud to announce the groundbreaking of our Sandhills Townhomes project in Valentine, Nebraska. This 15-unit affordable housing development originated from design concepts created by University of Nebraska College of Architecture students. After securing Low Income Housing Tax Credits through the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, we're transforming student vision into reality.

The development will feature three-bedroom units with attached garages and private yards, serving households at or below 60% of area median income. Through partnerships with Northwest Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Heartland Public Power, Sandhills State Bank, and Midwest Housing Equity Group, we're addressing Valentine's critical housing shortage while supporting those at risk of homelessness.

Construction begins this month with completion expected by August 2023.
