Hoppe Development meeting affordable housing demand in Sarpy County

Hoppe Development is proud to announce our plans for a 600-unit mixed-income subdivision in Papillion, addressing Sarpy County's critical housing shortage. Located southeast of 72nd Street and Capehart Road, this innovative development will integrate 350 market-rate rental units with 200 affordable rental units and 50 affordable for-sale homes.

"This subdivision is an attempt on our part to put affordable housing integrated within larger neighborhoods in areas of high opportunity with supportive child care infrastructure," said Jake Hoppe, Managing Principal. "What we're doing here—and we're doing this in Lincoln, Fremont and Grand Island as well—is creating a large-scale mixed income and mixed product development, integrating the affordable housing into the market-rate housing by design."

Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity will help offset construction costs while creating a vibrant, diverse community that serves residents across multiple income levels.
